After months of speculation, self proclaimed “Mr Big Chest” is being traded to Oakland. The Raiders will send a 3rd and 5th round pick to Pittsburgh for the disgruntled star wide receiver.
The Raiders acquire one the best wide receivers in the league and gives Derek Carr a much needed weapon for great value. On top of that, Oakland will retain all three of their 1st round picks in the upcoming draft to continue injecting talent into their roster. Pittsburgh was put in a tough spot from a negotiating standpoint due to Brown’s outspoken behavior on social media which greatly diminished his value. The Steelers will look to James Washington to step up alongside JuJu Smith-Schuster who emerged as potential number one receiver in 2018.
