1. Jalen Hurts, QB Oklahoma

Hurts completed 15 of 20 passes for 289 yards and 3 TDs, ran for 150 yards and a TD on 14 carries in a 48-14 win at UCLA.

Tagavailoa completed 28 of 36 passes for 444 yards and 5 TDs in a 47-23 SEC win over South Carolina.

3. Joe Burrow, QB, LSU

Burrow was 21 of 24 passing for 373 yards, 2 TDs and threw his second interception of the season in a 65-14 win over FCS opponent Northwestern State (LA).

4. Johnathan Taylor, RB, Wisconsin

The Badgers were off this weekend. But there’s a lot to be excited about in Madison. They have posted nothing but shoutouts up to this point, and it already seems clear that they have the best dual threat running back in the country. Johnathan Taylor reminds me a lot of former Wisconsin RB James White or perhaps even Christian McCaffrey.

6. Sam Ehlinger, QB, Texas

Ehlinger completed 23 of 27 passes for 279 yards and 3 TDs in the Longhorns’ 48-13 win at Rice.

8. Jerry Jeudy, WR, Alabama

Jeudy had a slow game against the Gamecocks by his standard, snagging 6 receptions for 68 yards. Jeudy is currently Mel Kiper Jr.’s #1 prospect for the NFL Draft.

9. Justin Herbert, QB, Oregon

Herbert is a first round draft prospect and is remains a Heisman Candidate as far as I am concerned. Herbert is an accurate passer that takes care of the ball.
