2. Ohio State Buckeyes (8-1)

The Buckeyes win semi-ugly, but hold Nebraska to its lowest offensive point total to date. They will now welcome Purdue, who comes off a win over Sparty. To me, this is going to be the most challenging game of the season. But there will be two more tests for the Buckeyes from those teams up north before the B1G Championship.

This Week: W; 26-17 @NEB

Up Next: 20 Purdue (6-3) 3:30 ET ABC

3. Oklahoma Sooners (9-0)

7. Oregon Ducks (8-1)

Oregon slides past the struggling Huskies in Seattle. This week, they’ll welcome their other rival from up north. The Cougars are not likely to be a threat to Oregon’s playoff hopes. Remember, Oregon cannot afford a second loss if they wish to make the playoffs as Pac-12 champs.

9. Texas A&M Aggies (7-2)

A&M rolls Auburn, finds themselves back in the top 10- as the first 2-loss team. Can they do it again in Oxford. The Aggies would need a whole lot of help, but they are likely the last team alive in the playoff race.

Up Next: Mississippi State (5-4) 12:00 ET/11:00 CT ESPN

24. Iowa State Cyclones (6-3)

Wow. They Cyclones blow over the Longhorns. Although this game will be in Lubbock, I expect a similar result this week with Texas Tech. They Cyclones will be a threat to Oklahoma’s undefeated season next week. Recall, thi is the team that ended Oklahoma State’s undefeated season. This team is dangerous.
